Kolab Client for Windows based on Kontact 4.8

A new version of the Kolab client for Windows has just been released. The installation package can be downloaded from files.kolab.org. Even though it includes a huge amount of bugfixes and is fully usable, this Kolab client package is still named "Rough Cut" by its maintainer Andre Heinecke, because there is still some room for more stabilization. If you want to deploy a Kolab client on Windows machines professionally, you can buy an enterprise version from Kolab Systems. They offer professional support and can assist you with deployment and configuration.

If you find any bugs, please report them to bugs.kde.org and add <aheinecke at intevation dot de> to the CC list, so he will be notified. This Kolab client for Windows release will be the last one of the 4.8 series. Further development will now focus on the 4.9 branch of Kontact and will include features such as Kolab 3 support, new Google PIM data import and improved search functionality.
