3.5. PDA Synchronization - KPilot

The contacts, calendar events, notes, and task lists can be synchronized with a personal digital assistant (PDA) bidirectionally. The Hot-Sync protocol is used and guarantees compatibility to a wide range of PDA devices.

The KDE Kolab client synchronizes using existing Hot-Sync software. To configure KDE KPilot to sync with KMail in Kolab mode. Just start KPilot and point to the Settings->Configure KPilot option. In the KPilot dialog click on the Sync tab. The Sync form will be displayed show below.

You KPilot application will be ready to synchronize with KMail in Kolab mode. For more information about how to configure KPilot point to the Help->KPilot Handbook of KDE KPilot Main Menu, which is well documented.
