Usually Notes contain only text and they are saved on the Kolab server in a special IMAP subfolder of the creating user.
Using KMail in Kolab mode you can display your notes altogether in the Notes view by clicking on the Notes icon of your Kolab account.

To create a note your have the choice between several options:
Right click on the Notes View and choose the New Note option.
Point to the Actions->New Note option of the Main Menu.
Right click on a Note and choose the New Note option in the context menu.
To edit a Note, just click on it, you can then overwrite it, or eventually configure it by right clicking on its header and choosing any of the options available in the context menu . The option which interest us here is the Mail option materialized by the envelop icon.
By clicking on it you can send your note to any of your contacts via email:

As the receiver of the note, I can right click on the email received in the INBOX of my Kolab account and point to the Move to->Kolab(your Kolab account)INBOX->Notes directory. The note will be displayed in the Notes View of your application together with your others notes.
