    Google Calendar is one of the most popular solutions for the majority of users, because of its great usability and performance. However, it doesn’t seem to be the case every time. One of the repeating issues is syncing of Google Calendar on Android devices.

    Sometimes Google Calendar won’t sync at all, sometimes it stops syncing without any special reason. We found some solutions that might be helpful.

    How to Update Google Calendar app on your device?

    Besides checking your Wi-Fi connection, the main step is updating Google Calendar app. To do so follow this instruction:

    • Go to Settings.

    • Find Google Calendar app and open it.

    • Select update if available.

    How to unsync Google Calendar app temporarily?

    Maybe the problem lies in the malfunctioning of the all-around synchronization. This way you can reset it and, possibly make it work again. To do so, follow presented instructions:

    • Select Settings.

    • Open Accounts tab.

    • Tap Google.

    • Choose your account.

    • Reset your phone.

    • Follow the same path and check previously unchecked Calendar tab.

    If you've forgotten your PayPal password but you remember your email address, follow these steps to regain access to your account:

    • Go to our Log In page.
    • Press having trouble logging in?

    Enter the email address you use for PayPal and press Continue. (You'll be asked to confirm your identity by selecting a verification method).

    If you select to receive an email, enter the 6-digit security code we email to you and press Continue. We may ask you to confirm your card number. We'll then ask you to create a new password and confirm it by entering it a second time.

    If you select to answer security questions, enter your answers and press Continue. We may ask you to confirm your card number. We'll then ask you to create a new password and confirm it by entering it a second time.

    You may also be given the option to Confirm through Facebook Messenger. If you select to use this method, press Send Code, enter the 6-digit security code we send to your Messenger and press Confirm. We'll then ask you to create a new password and confirm it by entering it a second time.

    If you have one or more Google email accounts registered to your PayPal account, you may be required to go through an authorization challenge upon logging in to your PayPal account.     Autodiscovery works only with IMAP, but you can configure ActiveSync account manually.

    Kolab-freebusy does not use Roundcube autoloader. From what I see its autoloader expects Sabre-VObject in /usr/share/php/Sabre/VObject/. So, make sure it's there and that it's version 3 not 2.1.

    The PHP warning has been fixed in https://git.kolab.org/rIb288663edb91825817abd573e649acb21a731698, but this and the other error are likely irrelevant.

    Files are stored as mail messages in imap, the same as we do for events, tasks, notes, and contacts.

    It looks like you're using Ubuntu?

    So, I'd check if the files are really empty or maybe it's just some issue in stored metadata. There was such an issue in old times where php-mail-mime package was outdated and caused storing size=0, but it should not be an issue anymore on recent systems.

    Collabora Online is Open Source and anybody can review the code and build a package. https://www.collaboraoffice.com/code/

    We're just using packages from their repositories as a convenience (because we're partners of Collabora and have support contract, etc.), the same as do Kolab Systems' customers with Kolab packages.
