Troubleshooting steps for Google not working on Android



  • Google is a part of our daily life and if you use Google app on your android smartphone but suddenly you get the issue of Google not working on android. Once you get this issue, all you need to do is search for the reason and fix the issue. There could be following errors that you might have got in the Google app:

    Unfortunately Google search has stopped working

    The request could not be completed as there was no connectivity.

    To get rid of the issue of Google is malfunctioning or not working on Android, you can go through following troubleshooting issue:

    Ensue that your smartphone is not in airplane mode:

    Airplane mode disconnects the network and wi -fi connection from the device. You can find the airplane mode at the top by expanding the tray and if you need to turn off the airplane mode, you can go through following settings:

    Go to the Settings app.

    Tap on More that you can find under Wireless & Networks.

    Now, turn off the airplane mode.

    Check the wi -fi connection: You can turn on wi -fi and get connected to the network with following settings:

    Go to the Settings app.

    Tap on Wi -Fi under wireless and networks.

    Turn on the wi -fi and choose the network that you wish to connect to but you should know the password.

    However, even after powering turning on the wi -fi, you get following icons:

    If you get ? icon: This implies that wi -fi has been turned on but the device is still not connected to the net.

    If you get ! icon: This signifies that you have been connected to a Wi -Fi network but still not connected to the internet.

    If everything is fine from network side, then, to resolve the issue of Google not working, you can go through further troubleshooting steps:

    Restart the Google app. Go through following steps:

    Go to the Settings app.

    Tap on Apps or Application Manager under Device.

    Now, you need to select Google app, and then click on Force Stop.

    Now, click on OK.

    Restart the android device: Restart your smartphone and connect to a network and carry on with your search on Google app.

    Go through above procedure to resolve the issue.
